If you donor already have experience, you may want to check the difficulty first. One thing worth mentioning is, it takes some effort to swap the ssd, there are a bunch of procedure to follow (you can watch some YouTube videos), plus the parts are easy to break, for swapping the ssd. On the mac mini, after the upgrade, it runs just 1 instance at basically 100% while still being unusably slow. On my desktop with a AMD 2700X, running a couple instances take like <10% CPU usage.
